All Vendors: Please call Mrs. Mary with the Mississippi Board of Animal Health at 601-359-1176 or 601-359-1170 and find out if you require a license. The state of Ms. does require a license to sell birds in the state. It doesn't not matter if you are a breeder, sell retail or sell wholesale. The fee is very small and the process very simple and it takes about 14 days to get the license via mail. Please don't take the risk of getting fined. The state of MS also requires all birds crossing state lines be examed by a vet. We will have a vet on site to do this Saturday morning at no extra expense to vendors.
